The greatest warrior to have ever walked the earth, Akuma the hedgehog.
After defeat at the hands of Nazo,
Akuma trained the former Chosen Heroes to wield the Sacred arms.
Now centuries has pass and he's back to ready the next gen of Heroes for the ultimate battle.

Normally I use Photoshop because off the many effects that are possible.

But for this I used FLASH MX.

I'm glad to see that Akuma himself was pleased by this work. Let me critique it:

His pose is simple, but conveys a lot about him: aloof at peace and always ready to fight. The presence of actual muscles (as opposed to bendable tubes) truly shows that he is a great fighter, as does the white energy on his hands. The outfit is pretty killer too. Again, it has exceeded my expectations.

Damn. He looks badass. But shouldn't the belt be black? That's one of the highest martial arts belts. Also, the symbol on the back is incorrect.

Apart from that, this is some nice artwork! I'll bet that you're not taking requests, but if you did, it would be teh sweetness. :3
